The publication of ISOS began in 1983 with its book on the Republic and Canton of Geneva. Since then, many other volumes have followed. Among other things, they list the heritage sites of national importance following the first revision of the inventory. The remaining volumes will be published in the near future as soon as work on updating them has been completed.

The following list provides an overview of all ISOS volumes currently available. These can be ordered directly online from this site, but are also available from bookshops. The federal government offers a 20% reduction to all inter-cantonal bodies, cantonal and communal authorities, as well as to research and teaching institutions.
