52. Internationale Kunstbiennale
Auf Vorschlag der Eidgenössischen Kunstkommission beauftragte das BAK die Künstlerin Christine Streuli und die drei Künstler Yves Netzhammer, Ugo Rondinone und Urs Fischer für die kommende 52. Internationale Kunstbiennale in Venedig zwei Ausstellungen zu erarbeiten. Im Schweizer Pavillon in den Giardini geben Streuli und Netzhammer einen Einblick in ihr Schaffen. In der barocken Kirche San Stae am Canale Grande stellen Rondinone und Fischer ihre Arbeit vor.
Vom 7. bis zum 9. Juni 2007 erhalten die Vertreterinnen und Vertreter der internationalen Presse anlässlich der Vorbesichtigung Zutritt auf das Gelände der Biennale in Venedig.
Die Ausstellung in der Kirche San Stae wird am 7. Juni um 16 Uhr eröffnet; die Vernissage des Schweizer Pavillons in den Giardini findet am 8. Juni um 17 Uhr statt.
Die offizielle Eröffnung der 52. Internationalen Kunstbiennale in Venedig findet am 10. Juni 2007 statt. Die Ausstellungen bleiben vom 10. Juni bis zum 21. November 2007 geöffnet.
