Upon the recommendation of the Swiss Federal Art Commission, the artists Christine Streuli, Urs Fischer, Yves Netzhammer and Ugo Rondinone have been selected to represent Switzerland at the 52nd Biennale in Venice. The Biennale opens on June 10 and continues through November 21, 2007.
The Swiss Federal Office of Culture is organizing the presentation of works by Christine Streuli and Yves Netzhammer in the Swiss Pavilion in the Giardini as well as works by Urs Fischer and Ugo Rondinone in the church of San Stae located on the Canale Grande.
