Via Charlemagne

Charlemagne’s Carolingian Empire covered a large part of what is now the European continent and his reforms inspired many leaders who came after him. In Switzerland, the Via Charlemagne route follows a number of trails, all of which tell a story about Emperor Charlemagne.
