Winners in the dance category of the Swiss Performing Arts Awards will be showing their work all over Switzerland at Tanzfest. Dance on tour will feature Marco Berrettini, Yasmine Hugonnet, Susanne Schneider / BewegGrund, Paola Gianoli and Nicole Seiler, who won an award in 2021.
Tanzfest has been a promotional partner of the FOC for the Swiss Dance Awards since 2015. It offers the award winners a platform to present their work to a broad and diverse audience. This year's event will allow audiences to experience “iFeel2” by *Melk Prod., a dancing duet with Marco Berrettini (2022 award) and Marie-Caroline Hominal (2019 dance award). Yasmine Hugonnet will present “Extensions”, a landscape piece for five dancers. The new performance “ume-ume” by inclusive group BewegGrund features a clash between two very different men, Jürg Koch and Lukas Schwander. Meanwhile, Paola Gianoli, dance promoter from Val Poschiavo, will present the poetic dance performance “Reflex” by Myriam Gurini. In addition to these 2022 award winners, Nicole Seiler, who won an award in 2021, will also feature with the piece “C'est sérieux!” – a duet in which two people attempt to demonstrate and describe the uniqueness of dance in the open air.
