“Vicky setzt Segel” is a piece for children that features colourful imagery, strong characters and gaudy costumes. “Flow” is the product of a close collaboration between Katarzyna Gdaniec and Marco Cantalupo and the Franco-Korean musician duo Keda, and features group formations in space that are simple yet intense. The solo “Hate me, tender” is a feminist work that addresses themes such as Catholicism and metoo in an ironic and witty way. “Speechless Voices” is inspired by the paintings of Belgian artist Michaël Borremans and is an intelligently constructed, outstanding work about gestures of farewell.
The awards are each worth CHF 25,000.
