4th Swiss Theatre Encounter in Ticino
The fourth Swiss Theatre Encounter takes place for the first time in Ticino. The venues for the festival, from 25 to 28 May, include the LAC and the Teatro Foce in Lugano as well as the Teatro Sociale in Bellinzona and the Cinema Teatro in Chiasso.
Over the Ascension Day weekend, audiences will have the chance to discover seven outstanding stage productions from all parts of the country, including "Twilight" by the artist duo TricksterP from Ticino, the recipient of a Swiss Theatre Award. The fringe programme, including a presentation by Theater HORA and a round-table discussion marking 60 years of the Hans Reinhart Ring, is aimed at theatre professionals, students and enthusiasts.
