MIMOS Swiss Performing Arts yearbook
The MIMOS Swiss Performing Arts yearbook on the winner of the Swiss Grand Award for the Performing Arts / Hans Reinhart Ring 2021, Martin Zimmermann, is being published to coincide with the Theatre Encounter.
A multilingual volume in the MIMOS series on the principal honour in the Swiss Performing Arts Awards is being published in association with the Swiss Association for Theatre Studies (SGTK). 2021 sees the publication of the first volume in the new MIMOS performing arts yearbook series, devoted to Martin Zimmermann. Designed by Adeline Mollard and with a foreword by Federal Councillor Alain Berset, it is edited by Paola Gilardi, Anne Fournier, Andrea Klaeui and Yvonne Schmidt. It includes articles and an interview on Martin Zimmermann’s stagecraft, which combines elements of circus, theatre, dance and spectacular stage installations. The book features numerous photographs and drawings from Martin Zimmermann’s archive and is an invaluable resource for anyone wishing to learn more about his work.
