New calls for submissions for “Current Dance Works” and “Dance as Cultural Heritage”
The next calls for submissions in the Current Dance Works and Dance as Cultural Heritage competitions run from 5 September to 6 November 2017 on the FOC’s support platform. For information and regulations, see: www.bak.admin.ch/tanz
For Current Dance Works, one piece from the current 2017/18 season can be submitted per choreographer. The second call for submissions for the 2018/19 season for the Swiss Dance Awards 2019 will take place in autumn 2018. Submissions for Dance as Cultural Heritage can include projects on Swiss dance history of national importance in a wide variety of formats, as well as reconstructions or reinterpretations of Swiss choreographies. A total of CHF 150,000 is available in this competition for 2018. Participation is open to Swiss citizens and other persons involved in the dance arena who are resident or have their registered office in Switzerland.
