Swiss Grand Award for Music 2018 goes to Irène Schweizer
The Swiss Grand Award for Music 2018 goes to Irène Schweizer, one of the most important contemporary jazz pianists, for a body of work that is unique in its field. Thirteen musicians and one ensemble receive a Swiss Music Prize. The award ceremony will take place on 13 September in Lausanne as part of the Label Suisse festival, with Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis in attendance.
