Swiss Grand Award for Theatre / Hans Reinhart Ring 2017
The Swiss Grand Award for Theatre / Hans Reinhart Ring 2017 has been won by Ursina Lardi, the multifaceted actor from Graubünden. Federal Councillor Alain Berset presented her with Switzerland’s highest theatre award on 24 May in the LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura at the opening of the 4th Swiss Theatre Encounter.
Ursina Lardi was born in Samedan in 1970, grew up in Poschiavo and now lives in Berlin. She is one of the most multifaceted and respected actors in the German-speaking countries and beyond. She receives this year's Grand Award for Theatre / Hans Reinhart Ring on the recommendation of the Federal Theatre Jury for her outstanding and radical acting.
