Presentation of the Hans Reinhart Ring 2020 to Jossi Wieler at the launch of the Swiss Theatre Yearbook MIMOS

The Swiss Theatre Yearbook MIMOS devoted to the winner of the Swiss Grand Award for Theatre / Hans Reinhart Ring 2020 will be published in May. The book launch will take place at 11 a.m. on 9 May in a virtual format as part of the Swiss Theatre Encounter. It will also see the official presentation of the Hans Reinhart Ring 2020 to Jossi Wieler, again in a virtual format.

Last year’s Swiss Theatre Awards presentation ceremony could not take place. The handover of the Hans Reinhart Ring to Jossi Wieler and the launch of the multilingual volume in the MIMOS series devoted to him are now scheduled as a matinée on Sunday 9 May in cooperation with the Swiss Association for Theatre Studies. Isabelle Chassot, Director of the Federal Office of Culture, will give the laudation. The documentary “Das Haus der guten Geister” (FAVO-Film), on Jossi Wieler’s artistic directorship at the Staatsoper Stuttgart, will also be screened. The event is part of the fringe programme for the 8th Swiss Theatre Encounter. The format will depend on the coronavirus situation. For further information, see:
