Terms and conditions of use
Use of the digitised holdings is subject to restrictions. The licences, terms and conditions of use and picture credits of the digital images are noted on the individual items.
The licences “Public Domain Mark 1.0” and “CC BY-NC-ND 4.0” allow use of images subject to the specified conditions and proper application of the picture credit.
The licence “All rights reserved” prohibits use of the images.
Exclusion of liability
Users are responsible for compliance with copyright provisions when reusing material. As regards images of persons, users must obtain the consent of the still living individual depicted prior to using the image. Users hold the Federal Office of Culture exempt from any claims arising from infringement of copyright or any other intellectual property rights. In no event shall the Federal Office of Culture be liable for the infringement of the personality rights of depicted persons.
