Performing Arts Heritage: book on 50 years of the Prix de Lausanne

The book “50 starry years”, marking five decades of the Prix de Lausanne, was entered in the Performing Arts Heritage competition and has received support from the FOC.

With the Prix de Lausanne soon to celebrate 50 years since its foundation, Swiss-French dance journalist Jean-Pierre Pastori has written a book lavishly illustrated with 250 photographs. The texts, which retrace the history of this internationally renowned ballet competition from 1973 to 2022, are in French and English. An exhibition accompanying the Prix de Lausanne’s milestone, devised in association with SAPA, the Swiss Archive of the Performing Arts, is on show at the Musée Historique Lausanne until the end of May. Copies of the book are also on sale.
