Winners of the 2022 Swiss Performing Arts Awards will be appearing at the Swiss Artists' Fair in Thun from 19 to 22 April

Mike Müller will open the Swiss Artists' Fair on 19 April with his inheritance comedy “Erbsache". Frida León Beraud will also be presenting her work in Thun. Both received a Swiss Performing Arts Award last autumn.

The Swiss Artists' Fair (Künstlerbörse) is a promotional partner of the Swiss Performing Arts Awards alongside the Tanzfest and the Swiss Theatre Encounter (Schweizer Theatertreffen). The centrepiece of the opening evening on Wednesday 19 April will be the performance by award-winning actor Mike Müller. He will be presenting his successful play “Erbsache – Heinzer gegen Heinzer und Heinzer”, a comedy that sees three estranged siblings face off in court over an inheritance dispute. The versatile performer and author plays these and other characters in this masterly, highly amusing and farcical one-man show. Meanwhile, Frida León Beraud and her group DALANG and Co. will present her play “sweet & sour”, which addresses the subjects of sex work and migration, as part of the SPOt. express format section. This piece of documentary theatre features sex workers, professionals but also Maria, a life-size doll. SPOt. will take place on Friday 21 April at 2.30pm All the information about the event can be found at Schweizer Künstlerbörse – Schweizer Künstlerbörse (kuenstlerboerse.ch)
