Award winners performing all over Switzerland at Das Tanzfest from 1 to 5 May

Swiss Performing Arts Award winners from the world of dance will be performing all over Switzerland as part of Das Tanzfest’s Dance on Tour 2024 programme: Cindy Van Acker, Marc Oosterhoff / Cie Moost, Ruth Childs, InQdrt and Tiziana Conte (presenting Elena Boillat).

Das Tanzfest has been a promotional partner of the FOC for the Swiss Culture Awards in the field of dance since 2015. Some 30 cities all over the country will host performances across a weekend in May. Das Tanzfest offers award winners a platform to present their work to a broader audience. The launch of the latest multilingual MIMOS – Swiss Performing Arts Yearbook on Cindy Van Acker will take place during Das Tanzfest in Geneva on 2 May, accompanied by a performance in the contemporary dance association ADC’s pavilion. June Johnson Newcomer Prize 2022 winners InQdrt, meanwhile, will put on an open-air performance of KATZENSPRUNG, a mix of Parkour and contemporary dance. Marc Oosterhoff / Cie Moost, winner of the June Johnson Newcomer Prize in 2023, will perform Palette(n), a piece for two performers, 20 pallets and a water bottle. Swiss Dance Production 2022 winner Ruth Childs will show Delicate People, a project blending dance and sculpture developed with the artist Cécile Bouffard. Tiziana Conte, winner of a Swiss Performing Arts Award in 2023 for her work promoting dance in Ticino, will present PARTITURAZERO, a work-in-progress performance by Elena Boillat.
