The Swiss Performing Arts Awards ceremony will take place at the Theater Casino Zug on 31 October 2024 in the presence of Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis. It will be streamed on the Swiss Culture Awards website.
After the Swiss Performing Arts Awards were presented at the Théâtre du Jura in 2021, the Théâtre de Carouge in 2022 and the LAC Arte e Cultura in Lugano in 2023, this year sees the first Swiss culture awards ceremony to be held in Central Switzerland. All of the winners will be honoured with film portraits as well as speeches by the Jury members. The evening will be hosted by Susanne Kunz with musical accompaniment from Jürg Kienberger on the piano, Anna Trauffer on bass and Peter Conradin Zumthor on percussion. As in previous years, Tom Ryser, winner of the Hans Reinhart Ring with Ursus & Nadeschkin in 2008, will direct. The event will also be streamed live and later made available as video on demand.
