The Schweizer Kleinkunstpreis was integrated into the Swiss Theatre Awards in 2015 and is now funded by the Federal Office of Culture. A selection committee from the Swiss theatre professionals’ association t. proposes three nominees, each of whom receives CHF 5,000. From these, the Federal Theatre Jury then selects the main winner, who receives CHF 40,000. The nominees are announced by t. in January, and the winner by the Federal Office of Culture ahead of the artists’ fair.
