The Swiss Ambassador in Rome, Monika Schmutz Kirgöz, handed over four archaeological cultural objects to the Italian authorities in the presence of the Federal Office of Culture (FOC). It was a voluntary restitution of four Etruscan ceramics by a private individual. As centre of competence of the Confederation, the FOC accompanies this kind of initiative. This restitution was carried out in close cooperation between the FOC and the Centre du droit de l'art at the University of Geneva.
