As in 2013 and 2015, this year's award ceremony was held at the Théâtre Equilibre in Fribourg in the presence of Federal Councillor Alain Berset. For those who missed the event, impressions of the ceremony and information on all the award winners can be found on the Swiss Dance Awards website.
The video portraits and encomia for the four winners in the Current Dance Works competition, June Johnson Dance Prize recipient Kiriakos Hadjiioannou, Outstanding Female Dancers Tamara Bacci and Marthe Krummenacher, Special Dance Award-winning group AiEP from Ticino, and Grand Award for Dance winner Noemi Lapzeson can be viewed on the Swiss Dance Awards website. There were live performances by AiEP, with an excerpt from "Temporaneo Tempobeat", and the Ballet Junior de Genève with a new version of Noemi Lapzeson's 1991 solo "Un instant".
