As in the 2013 and 2015 Swiss Dance Awards, the 2017 winners were allowed to select their own interviewer. Following the death of main award winner Noemi Lapzeson in January, Esther Sutter, who chaired the Dance Jury until 2017, interviewed Noemi Lapzeson’s long-serving companion Marcela San Pedro. A.I.E.P., Claudio Prati and Ariella Vidach, answered questions from Anne Davier, director of ADC. Tamara Bacci selected French-speaking Swiss journalist Thierry Sartoretti and Marthe Krummenacher the French author Karelle Ménin. Thomas Hauert spoke to the founder of the Lausanne-based 2b company, François Gremaud; Marco Berrettini with Parisian journalist Hervé Laval; József Trefeli and Gábor Varga with jury member and Le Temps editor Alexandre Demidoff; Yasmine Hugonnet with art critic and artist Charlotte Imbault; and Kiriakos Hadjiioannou with the dramaturge Margarita Tsomou, who lives in Berlin.
