Nine more Swiss Performing Arts Awards for 2024

The other winners of the Swiss Performing Arts Award 2024 are Anne Delahaye, Petra Fischer, Ursina Greuel, Ueli Hirzel, Marchepied Cie, Old Masters, Ivy Monteiro, Philippe Olza and Adina Secretan.

Nine Swiss Performing Arts Awards go to individuals and institutions that have made a name for themselves on Switzerland’s diverse performing arts scene.
The “outstanding performer” Anne Delahaye (born in 1975) has impressed in many productions in French-speaking Switzerland for years. Petra Fischer (born in 1963) works as a “dramaturge and educator in youth theatre” in both Switzerland and Germany. A “dedicated theatrical creator”, Ursina Greuel (born in 1971) has been Artistic Director of the sogar theater in Zurich since 2018. Ueli Hirzel (born in 1949) is known nationally and internationally as a “contemporary circus pioneer”. Marchepied Cie, led by Corinne Rochet (born in 1969) and Nicholas Pettit (born in 1967), is a “vital dance springboard” for up-and-coming dance practitioners. The theatre collective Old Masters from Geneva ‒ Marius Schaffter (born in 1980), Jérôme Stünzi (born in 1981) and Sarah André alias André André (born in 1984) ‒ creates “total plastic works”. Afro-Brazilian artist Ivy Monteiro (born in 1987) is a “queer ballroom activist”. Networker Philippe Olza (born in 1961), meanwhile, is described as a “multifaceted dance producer”. Last but not least, Adina Secretan (born in 1980) is an “industrious dramaturge” who also takes part in various collective experiments.
