Five further Swiss Theatre Awards 2017 accolades

Further awards went to the puppeteer Margrit Gysin, actor and director Marielle Pinsard, author and director Valérie Poirier, musical theatre producers Dominik Flaschka & Roman Riklin, and the artist duo TricksterP from Ticino.

Margrit Gysin received a Swiss Theatre Award as the grande dame and pioneer of puppet theatre, especially for a young audience; Marielle Pinsard as a cross-cultural storyteller of consummate skill; and Valérie Poirier as one of the few theatre writers in French-speaking Switzerland. Dominik Flaschka and Roman Riklin received a Swiss Theatre Award 2017 for their popular and intelligent musical theatre, while Cristina Galbiati and Ilija Luginbühl, who make up the Ticino-based artist duo TricksterP, were recognised for creating their own unique form of theatre featuring immersive scenic landscapes.
