The official German Lost Art Internet Database is the centralized database to document Nazi-looted art and looted art which, as a result of Nazi persecution, were removed and relocated, stored or seized from their owners, particularly Jews, or cultural objects in which case, because of gaps in their provenance, that kind of loss cannot be ruled out as a possibility.
The database is managed by the foundation «Deutsches Zentrum Kulturgutverluste» at Magdeburg.
The database is also open to report search requests and found-object reports from Switzerland.
