Swiss Performing Arts Awards 2021 winners at the Artists’ Fair in Thun from 20 to 23 April

Manuel Stahlberger and the duo fleischlin/meser will be appearing at the opening of the Swiss Artists’ Fair on 20 April 2022. They received Swiss Performing Arts Awards in autumn 2021.

The Swiss Artists’ Fair is a promotional partner of the Swiss Performing Arts Awards, along with Tanzfest and the Swiss Theatre Encounter. The centrepiece of the opening evening on Wednesday 20 April will be the appearances by the duo fleischlin/meser and by Manuel Stahlberger. Working at the intersection of theatre and dance, fleischlin/meser bring political, social and biographical issues to the stage through the medium of exhilarating performances. A musician, cartoonist and cabaret performer from eastern Switzerland, Manuel Stahlberger blends melancholy and humour like no other Swiss artist, with his precise observation of the everyday and the seemingly average. On Saturday 23 April, Antje Schupp, another award winner, will be taking part in the fair as a member of Eric Facon’s Kulturstammtisch culture panel.
