The prize is aimed at professional Swiss choreographers and dance ensembles at the beginning of their careers whose work exhibits particular potential. In a change from the previous procedure, entrants do not have to submit a project that has not yet been realised but should instead document their current work. In summer 2019, the Federal Dance Jury will propose between three and five of the submitted projects to the STJS. From these a jury of experts appointed by the Foundation will select the winner, who will receive a prize worth CHF 25,000. For information and submissions, go to:
