The Federal Dance Jury has selected four outstanding works from 74 submissions in the Current Dance Works competition for the last two seasons: “inaudible” by ZOO/Thomas Hauert, “iFeel3” by *Melk Prod./Marco Berrettini, “Le Récital des Postures” by Yasmine Hugonnet and “Creature” by József Trefeli and Gábor Varga.

ZOO/Thomas Hauert's "inaudible" is a virtuoso dance work that flirts humorously with art and pop culture using improvisation and "Mickey Mousing". "iFeel3" by *Melk Prod./Marco Berrettini interrogates individual social experiences in an endless loop of movements surrounded by the sound of an electronic duo. In "Le Récital des Postures", Yasmine Hugonnet explores the body as instrument, creating forms and relations that evoke images in our minds. "Creature" is a choreography in which József Trefeli and Gábor Varga engage self-ironically with the traditional Hungarian dance of their childhood and reinvent it as something new. The awards are each worth CHF 25,000.
