Competition „The Most Beautiful Swiss Books“

The current call for entries is closed.

The call for entries for the "Most Beautiful Swiss Books" competition, 2023 edition, will open on 27 October 2023. Applications can be submitted on the FPF platform for support contributions from 27 October to 14 December 2023.

Kindly read these instructions carefully before proceeding to the online registration.

The Federal Office of Culture FOC operates an online platform for entering into competitions, the so-called

Who is eligible to submit a book?

One of the following three parties is eligible to submit one or several titles to the competition:
1) Designers / design studio,
2) Publishers,
3) Printers
We kindly ask you the read the competition rules in order to establish eligibility (who may take part, which books may be submitted, etc.).

How to proceed?

The registration must first take place online. Thereafter, the online entry form is printed out and submitted by post, together with the book.

To submit, firstly register yourself/your institution (create user ID, receive login). Each entrant thereby sets up a personal account through which the status of their entry can be tracked. Once logged in, fill out the form on the online platform, print out the form and send it, along with your book (or books), to the Federal Office of Culture. If you already took part in last year’s competition, your user ID will still be valid and your contact details saved in the database.


The closing date for the online entries is December 16th, 2021. Once the books have been registered, they would need to be sent in to the Federal Office of Culture by the 31st December 2021, together with the printed registration form.
